HELP Us Get Truckin!
HELP's Director of Day & Vocational Programs Rohn Hess spoke with Cool Cleveland about our need for a delivery truck for HELP U Shred!
In the Autumn of 1983 HELP Six Chimneys opened its doors as the new home for 46 adults who had developmental disabilities. Many of these new residents were coming from the state institutional system into their very first independent apartment. This was a revolutionary model of residential care and the journey to opening day was full of challenges that were overcome through the tenacity, creativity, and collaboration of HELP leadership and our partners at every level of government and regional philanthropy. To this day Six Chimneys is a dynamic and vibrant community of individuals discovering their own strengths and abilities as they gain the confidence to live their lives on their own terms!
HELP is proud to provide shredding services at competitive rates at our new HELP U Shred vocational program located adjacent to the HELP Adult Day Support Program on Euclid's Shore Center Drive.
